Birnando, I have fallen head over heels for your razor, it certainly appeals to my custom knife collecting side, it looks amazing.

Hi birnando, I dont own any Tim Zowada knives, but I do own a custum Mcusta one of 80 pieces with cocobolo handles and cherry blossom inlays, and a very rare never carried or used Spyderco Michael Walker C22, a Klotzli ACC1 in carbon fibre ATS 34 steel custom Swiss knife, and a Japanese Moki with strawberry jigged bone handles and VG10 mirror polished steel, and quite a few EDC Spyderco's if i'm honest If I were to take to straight shaving I think it would have to be with a new custom built model with either VG10 stainless steel or ATS 34, one of the more modern steels on the market.

Thanked: 1185Prep: Morning PT, Lukewarm Shower, Baby Oil Gel
Dome Razor: 1962 Gillette Ball End Tech
Face Razor: Boker Red Injun #102
Brush: Omega Boar
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
AS: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Nivea ASB
Finish: Agua Lavanda Puig Cologne, Firehouse Wacky Tacky
This shave was truly a trip back to my roots. The Ball End Tech came into the world the 4th quarter of 1962 (as did I). The Boker Red Injun was my very first traditional straight razor. The cologne was Frank Sinatra's go to. Although I'm told it came in a much fancier bottle back then. I really like this cologne, very fresh and clean smell but not a lot of linger time. So since I had all this old stuff, a black and white photo seemed approriate. We've also got UK like weather here in the Sunshine State today. Gray, drizzling and pretty ugly outside. A fine day to make a pot of coffee and watch some old movies I've probably seen a hundred times.
The older I get, the better I was

Good afternoon Gents!
Shave prep: Face wash
Brush: Omega boar brush
Soap: C&E Nomad
Scuttle: Robert Becker medium
Razor: Dixie Blue Steel by Dixie MFG Co, Union City. 5/8 hollow round point in clear blue acrylic scales.
Honing progression: J-nats (Oozuku w Botan, Tenjou and Tomonagura)
Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Bay Rum, house blend
Notes: Nice, smooth and relaxing afternoon shave here. Brought out the scuttle today, that thing is impressively large and I always can whip up a veritable snowstorm in it. Sun is shining, dinner is on. I think I'll make myself a Mojito and sit in the sun a bit. Good days.
Have a beautiful week guys!

Week of June 26 SOTD - Sunday
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 23mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger Maxterpiece: 7/8" J.A. Henckels #19, 1/2 Hollow Ground (loose Grind), Spike Point (w/ G10 Lime Green scales) Strop: 45/65 laps (Neil Miller linen / SRD Premium IV leather) Überlather: Proraso Shave Creme + Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap + Glycerin Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer After Shave Splash: Proraso AS After Shave Balm: eShave "Almond" ASB Results: Another Maxterpiece day. The Henckels is a super nice razor with fabulously "out-there" scales. Something about her really appealed to me. My wife fell totally in love with her, before I even decided to get it. The Shavemac whipped up a deliciously refreshing lather out of the MWF/Proraso combination. Everything started out right this AM.

Have a BEAUTIFUL Sunday Gentlemen.
