Thumbs up Sun June 26th - Sat July 02nd

    Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
    Razor: Dubl Duck Stainless
    Brush: Simpson Polo 10
    Soap: MDC
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    ASB: Nivea Extra Sensitive
    EDC: Acca Kappa Cedro
Summary: What a gorgeous summer day today. The MDC soap is such a pleasure to use. It's the one soap I could live with for the rest of my life if I had to. It never disappoints, it's that good. Neither did my DD Stainless and Acca Kappa's Cedro EDC. The Dubl Duck performed flawless. A smooth silent killer.
The month of July is coming up real soon. Let's enjoy every day of summer! Have a great one, gents. Great job as always to everyone participating in our daily SOTD.

    Feather AS-D1
    Feather blade
    Simpsons Chubby 2
St James Mandarin & Patchouli cream
    Alum block
St James Cedarwood & Clarysage balm + Propolis
St James Cedarwood & Clarysage Eau de cologne

Lovely shave Chubby 2 went into overdrive with the lather, two pass shave, with minor touch up, still only using the feather blade for two maybe three shaves, cannot believe the weather, it's been a awful summer so far, the UK is a great country with great people, the only trouble is it's in the wrong part of the world!

    Default Sunday!

A fine sunny day in Oslo, I'm hitting the deck.

    Pre-Shave: A relaxing shower
    Brush: H.L.Thäter 25mm Silvertip
Razor: Tim Zowada, Damascus custom, 7/8", Spanish point
Honing Regimen: Touched up today on a Norton Barber hone, Smoooth!
Strop: MickR's Kangaroo strop. Kanayama Linen
    Soap/Cream: Straightrazordesigns Bulgarian Rose soap
    Scuttle:Schwarzweisskeramik, Large White
    Astringent: Thayer's Medicated
After shave Balm: Truefitt and Hill, classic ASB
    EdT: Chanel Allure
Results: Wasn't much there to remove today, but whatever little there was is looong gone now This Zovada is sublime. I used to have trouble honing it, but now that I know it a little better it can take the smoothest of edges. Muy bien!! SRD's Bulgarian Rose is some really nice stuff. It easily whips up the finest of lathers, great cushion, great scent. I love this stuff.

I had an afternoon shower and shave today after mowing the lawn.
You'd think I would have learned my lesson by now, within seconds of the beginning the shave I had 3 kids running around my feet.
I pulled the plug on the shave after 1 pass. At least it was a good pass.
The kids were having fun though, its worth it to see them laugh.
Hope you gentlemen have more sucess than me.
    Have a great week.
