Not even 7:45 on a Sunday morning here on the East Coast, and the shaves are already stunning!

A lovely shave indeed. As for the weather...Be careful what you wish for. You may just get it--like Texas, Arizona and New Mexico which haven't seen rain for months.

And a good morning to you as well Bela.

A Rooney brush paired with LaToja shaving cream. Coincidence? Perhaps great minds think alike.

Thanks Henry. For La Toja I thought really a softer brush.

Birnando, I have fallen head over heels for your razor, it certainly appeals to my custom knife collecting side, it looks amazing.

If you are a knife collector, I can definitely see what you mean.
Tim Zowada has made some stunning knifes over the years
Do you have any Zowada Custom knifes in your collection?
Would love to hear how you find them if you do!

Hi birnando, I dont own any Tim Zowada knives, but I do own a custum Mcusta one of 80 pieces with cocobolo handles and cherry blossom inlays, and a very rare never carried or used Spyderco Michael Walker C22, a Klotzli ACC1 in carbon fibre ATS 34 steel custom Swiss knife, and a Japanese Moki with strawberry jigged bone handles and VG10 mirror polished steel, and quite a few EDC Spyderco's if i'm honest If I were to take to straight shaving I think it would have to be with a new custom built model with either VG10 stainless steel or ATS 34, one of the more modern steels on the market.

    Wow, sounds impressive Thanks!
    Quite a collection you've acquired!
Yes, the ATS-34 is a nice steel. I have a Mastro Livi in that steel, and it is a superb shaver!
