I shaved earlier in the day then went for dinner.

    Hot shower
    Warm oil
    Dirty Bird
    Badger Brush
    Nancy Boy Signature
    SRDP1 Strop
    Henckles 7/8 full hollow
    AOS Aluminum
    Pinaud Clubman
    Vaseline for me.

I used an old photo since I was too lazy to take another. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

    Ahhhhh Jim,
Those Goldedges are worth their weight in Gold. Fantastic shavers to say the least. Great choice. That Martini must have hot the spot afterwards.

    Hey Joe,
Those Satinedges are amongst the best of the DD series. Great shave. How was the Golf? Who won, LOOOL?

Thanks Tom...As to the "Loose Grind", I think Max gave that "perfect" explanation. Never shave with a cracked blade or a blade on crack, LOOOOL. It's worse than one's brains on crack, LOOOL

    Beautiful razor and photo.
Good question Grant...The answer would be ~21 days. Thank you for the kind words about the Henckels my friend.

    Pastor Tim,
Congratulations on the new position. It must feel fantastic. Forget the fact that the shave wasn't quite there...You'll have better ones I am sure. After all, now you've got Friends in very high places)

LOOOOOOL. Sorry, when it comes to my women, I don't share, LOL. Do you have a Maxterpiece on tap with max or a Maxtom? Either way, these take time (like good wine). Hang tight Paul. When you get yours, you'll love it.

BTW: I vote Red Point for tomorrow...just my 2 cents

Weather is hot + just about right, Robert!

The Aventus is a really unique smell. It replaces my Original Vetiver, also from Creed, as my "expensive" scent. Hopefully this 120ml / 4oz bottle should last me a while. I've not actually used it yet but I've been sampling the scent for ages. It starts off really fruity and dries down into a wonderful oakmoss/woody base. Watch this space on this one!!

    Default Monday morning

    Pre-Shave: A slow, relaxing shower
    Brush: D R Harris, 26mm Silvertip
Razor: Robert Williams Custom, 8/8" Quarter Hollow, French point. Blonde horn scales.
Strop: SRD's PremiumIV English bridle, long version
    Soap/Cream:Al's shaving cream, Saigon
    Scuttle:Schwarzweisskeramik, Large White
    Astringent: Osma Alum
After shave Balm: MdC Copra oil
    EdT: Penhaligon's Engish Fern
Results: A comfortable and very smooth shave. I am a big fan of Al's shaving products. Very good lather and leaves the skin feeling great. We have a rainy day here today, so I went for some English Fern, it reminds me of the smell of the forrest on such a day
