    Pre-Shave: A hot shower
    Brush: Shavemac Silvertip
Razor: Robert Williams Custom, 7/8" Barber's Notch
    Strop: Kanayama
    Soap/Cream:CarrieM BRV uberlather
    Astringent: Thayer's Lavender
After shave Balm: CarrieM After Shave Milk
    EdT: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet
Results: What a relaxing way to start the week. I hadn't used CarrieM's cream in a while, and pairing it with her glycerin soap was just the ticket. I was rewarded for my efforts with a luxurious and delicious smelling cream that left me wondering whether I should eat it or lather my face with it! In the end, I opted for the latter and was probably all the better for my choice. The RW has such nice, smooth steel and it felt great on the face as it deftly swept the weekend's growth of stubble away. It was all topped off with a classic scent and now I'm ready for depositions!!

Bjørnar, you should try Diptyque's Philosykos if you like forest-like scents. A very natural scent of figs and the woody-green sort of bark scent that you get from a moist tree in the forest. Worth a try at least!

    Prep: Hot shower
Brush: New Forest, Tubby 2 in two band
    Razor: Friodur
Soaps: La Toja + Mama Bear unscented
    AS: Alcolado
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean

Ahhhlcolado´s so nice and fresh in the summer and it has almost been a year since last I used it. Lather was splendid, not that La Toja needs anything extra to be a great soap but Mama B added some chunk to the mix.

I did a much better job lathering the MDC than I did the first time I tried it, and as promised, it delivered an abundance of fantastic lather. It took me a minute to figure out how I felt about its scent, but by the second pass I was digging it.
I just gave this razor a tiny bit more fine tuning today and was rewarded with a 3 pass BBS shave.
Thanks for all the great posts and pics boys
