Colorado/Evening/Puma 'My Darling' (Thanks Glen!)/Silvertip/Old Spice AS/Tend Skin/Gillette AS Balm Sensitive Skin/Big Daddy/Olive Oil and Glycerine

The shave tonight had special meaning to me. This is the Puma I damaged during restoration. Glen was able to get the chips out and honed her up to a beautiful shaver.

All Old Spice scents, starting with my vintage old spice soap with glycerine. 2 Passes and WOW!!! Followed by Gillette sensitive skin balm. Finished with Vintage Old Spice AS.

Magnificent. Even had I gotten a terrible shave, I would have loved every minute of it. As it was, what a shaver. I can't say thank you enough times to Glen.

    Enjoy!!

Looks like Murphy has targeted you for a visit this time. Seems like whatever you chose went wrong one way or another. As far as the razor, I am wondering if the edge rather than the blade may be at fault. Not sure what pressed wool is but if it's anything like wool felt, then it may be a bit too rough for the edge to be used with CrOx (just my 2 cents). I would suggest CroX on leather or balsa strop (very light touch). AMAZING results

I had heard a lot of folks complain abou teh CS soaps/cremes...They just don't seem to have the oomph so to speak.

I like the way you turn a negative experience into a positive outlook though...That's exactly how one should think about these things. Well done...My hat's off to you buddy

    Thanks Robert,

The Wool (SRD rock hard wool) has been treating me well thus far and seems to really finish up an edge. I imagine that a quick step back to the hones is all that is really needed, and perhaps a little more experience, that was my first shave with a 4/8's and my touch was likely off (especially in the spots where my touch is less consistent usually) and a few more shaves are all that is required.

Thanks Robert! I was actually trying to emulate your shots!
Hopefully the nose will regain it's former prowess!!!

A lovely shave with two days growth the Feather AS gave those whiskers a good whipping, I rate the Vulfix Persian musk highly, it is such a lightly scented shaving cream it will fit in and layer with a lot of shaving scents and balms, my lovely Wife as a few well deserved days off this week, so we are off to the big city for a spot of retail therapy.

Slimline razor makes a nice change from my other Sheffields, most of which are choppers...an idea for a new mini-collection !
You´re welcome Michael, but I came out ok from that trade, too I still remember how good the steel felt in that one and how prestine she was... Lucky you don´t put the brush infront, you wouldn´t have seen anything, lol. That´s one large brush!

    Micahel,
Mikael is quite the "closet" enabler, LOOOOL. Congrats on scoring a nice piece of steel.
Thanks Robert, noting serious though, only my pride got really hurt. Nothing serious

That razor´s sweet, Robert, some you don´t forgett and that, was without a doubt, one of those.

No shave today ... I´m as chocked as you guys:
