I love this razor, it's *very* light and maneuverable. The blade is wedge ground, but very narrow (only 1/16" at the thickest part) and extremely stiff. The brassy hue to the spine piece isn't an optical illusion. Because of this the tape stays on during the entire honing process.

When on the road, I unhook the hanger from my fold-over suit bag, and fasten it to my strop, which I then can hang or hook most anywhere - in this case the hotel bathroom door knob. It is really strong, so no worries about breaking it.
