Oh my! It's amazing how much damage can be inflicted by a "little" wind off the west coast of Africa that gets a running start in the South Atlantic and finally makes landfall in the Caribbean and the eastern seaboard of the U. S.

Glad to hear that you are safe and well, though. Hope that they can restore power to your area soon.

Fantastic shaves all!

Indeed Tabac has a unique fragrance, the soap though is a top performer so if it was less than great you need to try again.

Finally got the chance to shave but using a candle and cold water. I've been shaving in cold water for about a year so that was no problem so it sure came in handy knowing how to do that. We have to boil water right now. A little strange using candle light actually kind of eerie. I was expecting Anthony Perkins to attack me from behind, the Psycho movie star, but it was an interesting challenge.

Prep: Any Soap and cold water
    Cream: Proraso
    Razor: Thiers-Issard 6/8 Grelot
    Brush: Badger Brush Silver-Tipped
Strop: Illinois Russian Leather and Linen
    Aftershave: Nivea non-alcohol cream

A good shave surprising goes a long way to help cope with the day. Thanks again guys.
Sorry for the trouble. I am in Northern NJ also. PM me if there is any way I can help out.

I plan on it. Just was using it as I do my other soaps and aperently had the ratio off by a little.

A thrifty shave this morning! A mix of home made and cheap products. The GD received a slight sweetening of the edge on a home made balsa crox strop before stropping on my home made denim hanging and home made paddle strops. The result was great and quite satisfying! Now all I have to do is build a forge and soap factory and it could be a 100% Jeltz made shave!

    Paul,
Sorry about the trouble with Tabac...I, for one, love the scent. And once you get this soap right (which shouldn't be), you'll be reaping the rewards buddy. Trust me. it's that good. Great KT btw. Love that frameback.

Sorry about the quality of the pic, I'm still trying to learn what the heck I'm doing with a camera. Got this razor out of the mailbox today and have been waiting since about 12:30 to give it a go. Only did one pass since it's a little different handling then a regular str8 but I don't think it'll take too long to get used to. I'm extremely happy with what Mr. Brown came up with and honestly can't thank or recommend him enough. Also a big thanks to Gerrit for getting Brian and I in contact.
