I love this Joseph Elliot Best Silver Steel "Rangoon" razor! Great shaver. My face still smells like Madam Scodioli's "Briny Deep." Now I'm off to preach! Hopefully I'll smell good that people will stay awake :O

CRAZY WEEK HERE IN THE MID ATLANTIC
WANTED TO POST BEFORE THE LIGHTS GO OUT. RESCUED THIS GENCO FROM A FLEA MARKET IT HAS A LITTLE HONE WEAR AND SIGNS OF MISTREATMENT BUT IT CAME BACK WITH A LITTLE EFFORT. I HAVE NOT MET A GENCO I DIDN'T LIKE. GREAT SHAVER. BETTER POST WHILE I CAN ,HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK. I WANTED TO ADD THAT A LITTLE DROP OF AVOCADO OIL AND GLYCERIN MADE FOR A INCREDIBLE RICH AND CUSHIONED LATHER. REGARDS JIM

Oil – Al’s Saigon Pre-shave oil
AST – ALUM
Toner – AESOP Parsley seed toner

I honed this up for a buddy. I did use one layer of tape due to the spine configuration. The shave was excellent not as stiff as a frame-back. I did use one layer of tape due to the unusual spine configuration.
At first I could not figure out why they would design a “fuller” or “blood groove” the length of the blade. When you shave the soap piles up in this groove and is re-distributed while you shave. I guess you could call it a “soap groove”. G-10 Scales by DirtyChrome are balanced for this unique blade profile. Have a nice week.

No Shave Today, but I'm impressed by those shown by others...
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.
