My face was a bit oily this morning, so I washed it with the neutrogena soap. This is a departure from recent practice. As for the razor, this is the one that I honed on the translucent arkansas, and I think it's at shave #3 on this honing. It's settling down and shaving very well now, this was very smooth shave, and all of my "trouble spots" are smooth as well. The wife was impressed.
