09-25-2011, 11:16 AM #13Pre: Hot shower + steaming hot towels
Lather: Dovo + glycerin
Brush: Kingsley Badger
Razor: Henckels 8/8 Friodur
Astringent: Thayers WH
ASB: Pre de Provence ASB with Shea Butter
ASL: Clubman
This was quite the mystical shave with all the whiskers seeming to disappear with a wave of the razor. The thick, luxurious lather was so smooth and cushiony that the razor seemed to glide just above my face. My face is less wrinkled, my teeth seem straighter and I am at least an inch taller Amazing what a great shave can do

I don't think I'll ever see myself on page 1. I think I'd have to shave at 2 in the morning!!
This blade was a bit heavy for 1 day's worth of whiskers, but everything still came out smooth thanks to an uberlather of Mama' Bear's Beau Brummel, Bay Rum whipped shaving soap and some glycerin.
Have a great Sunday Gents!

09-25-2011, 12:20 PM #18Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Neep, extra stuffed silvertip 26 mm in a soapstone from Kenya
Razor: Erik Anton Berg, 1/4 grind
Soap: Nannys French Lavender
AS: ROMA by Laura B
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean
What a nice grind and razor! E A Berg usually did hollow ground razors, but this blade's nowhere close to that.

A Double Intro SOTD
- A very hot shower,
- FS Richmond Finest Badger Faux Ivory Handle,
- Hen & Rooster, 6/8, extra full hollow grind, singing (more photos of my new beauty HERE),
- Castle Forbes Lavender Natural Essential Oil Shaving Cream,
- Bloc Osma,
- Castle Forbes Lavender Essential Oil After Shave Balm,
- Penhaligon's "Juniper Sling" Euau de Toilette (sample).
My new razor performed like a dream and I "used some heavy artillery" to accompany her the best that I could on her maiden SOTD voyage for You Gents - with some of the most yummiest software out there
BBS is something I don't even have to mention any more
Penhaligon's "Juniper Sling" Eau de Toilette sample came directly from London not even 2 weeks after the World Premiere of this new fragrance - and it is just OUUUUUTSTANDING
It just made me sit out on the sunny terrace of a small&cute bistro with a glass of "close to absolute zero" cold G&T - a pure bliss, gentleman - A PURE BLISS!
Altogether, my first "H&R razor presentational shaving" was very successful indeed
Have a great Sunday gents and keep posting those wonderful pics!

I have practicaly nothing to shave but i did for the fun of it. I really never thought i would get an extra hollow this big. First because there rare and secondly because they usually got for crazy money. I was able to buy this from ebay for a deal. Pristene condition. I think she was never honed. Awesome job today guys.
MAX Love your Blade!! Love their spike point.
