Monday (for me) but most of you are probably still in Sunday :-)

The photo was taken yesterday to remind me of why I go to work on Mondays (and Tuesday and Wednesdays, etc). It allows me to spend Sundays reading in the sun and drinking beer on freshly mown ‘grass’ (weeds). In the scuttle is an experiment. More on that here:

    http://straightrazorpalace.com/soaps...-soap-mix.html

Razor: Wade and Butcher 5/8, Canadian Maple Scales, newly refreshed edge (20 8k, 10 16k with a bit of slurry, 10 without slurry)
    Pre Shave: None
Soap/Cream : A mix of shaved Windsor, Proraso, Musgo Real and glycerin, ‘cooked’ for 15 mins
    ASB: None
    After Shave: None

I wanted to see how the experimental soap mix worked out all by itself, so didn’t use anything BUT the mix. The soap was a bit of a disappointment, it dissipated way too quickly; like the Windsor by itself. I didn’t really expect anything else!

Ran a cable so the kid can have Sat. TV in her living space (as she calls it now). Hot shower and nice shave followed. Now I am relaxing getting ready for the week.

As yesterdays shave was a bit of trial I'm giving the face a break.
Great shaves... I think I will spend some time sanding so my W&B can get a SOTD with all of yours.

Just checking in fellas. I haven't shaved since Thursday of last week (I didn't post it, but I got a nasty slice on the chin whilst trying a new angle....won't try that again), but I'm looking forward to tomorrows shave. Excellent shaves to start the week, keep them coming!
