I decided to test my last 2 reciently honed together. My Friodur and a Extol Extra hollow. Both performed outstandingly. I also havent used Calypso in a while. My tiny container dried out so i refilled it. I ubered Ogallala and Calypso. Ahhhh Love that Bay Rum scent.

Saturday is DE day, and a beautiful day it is (shaving wise - actually, weather wise, it’s a bit iffy). The Crabtree and Evelyn Nomad soap is perfect for a DE shave. I find by itself, it’s not so good for a straight shave (not enough ‘oomph’, though it’s a great base for an Überlather. Two passes with the Mühle and I’m ridiculously smooth.
Excellent coffee (hand ground organic beans) in my Vintage French Coffee bowl...
I was wondering; not sure if this has been done before, but wouldn’t it be cool if we all posted SOTD photos featuring a post card of where we lived? Just a thought...

Str8Shooter has been after me for a while to give it a shot and delivered a "care package" for me today. After a brief lesson, i went from full on beard to smooth. I was suprised to actually enjoy shaving. Finished all up, enjoyed the smells, and not a drop of blood shed. Thanks Str8Shooter
