Week of October 16 SOTD - Tuesday
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 24mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger Maxtom: 15/16" Max Sprecher Custom, 1/4 Hollow Ground, French Point (w/ Makume Gane scales) Strop: 20/50 laps (Torolf Linen / Ambrose Horse Hide Clásico leather) Überlather: Jack Black "Macademia/Soy" Shave Creme + D.R. Harris "Marlborough" Shave Soap + Glycerin Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender, no alcohol) Moisturizer: D.R. Harris Aftershave Milk After Shave Splash: D.R. Harris "Marlborough" AS Cologne: D.R. Harris "Marlborough" EdT Results: Took out my BEST custom in my collection and took her for a ride. I haven't shaved since...Well, I can't remember (maybe Thursday??). No matter...the Maxtom doesn't care how many days of growth I have been sporting. She wiped things clean like they were yesterday's news. What a shaver. As much as I like my Alex Jacques or my Joe Chandler, this one is in a league of her own . The Marlborough is one of those scents I don't use often, and I honestly don't know why ...The soap has such a wonderful aroma, not to mention phenomenal performance. What a terrific shave today. The good news: I can't believe how clean my face feels. The bad news: I cannot stop faceturbating now...I need to get over myself and get back into my game plan for the day .
Have an AMAZING Tuesday gentlemen.

Thanked: 1185Prep: Call in sick (sick of working), 3 mile run, cool shower, baby oil gel
Razor: Klas Tornblom "The Swede"
Brush: Semogue 1305
Soap: Arko Shavestick
AS: Alum Block
Finish: Murray and Lanman's Colonia de Rosas
I tried hard but work just wasn't happening today. So I called in a mental health day. Nice single pass shave. I've decided this will be the week of odd ball finishes. I've got a few of these stored under the sink in the shave cave. Not sure why I don't use this stuff more often, it really is nice.
Can't say I've ever encountered "Maybe you touched your genitals" hand sanitzer. I'll have to keep my eyes open for it. I'm not saying...I'm just sayingLast edited by 1OldGI; 10-18-2011 at 05:20 PM.
