Thanked: 485Sunday
A special day today, fourteen years ago my youngest son was born. He is still a jolly little fellow, but rather more sarcastic.
Off to have wood fired pizzas and pints of micro brewery beer in Verdun (no, not France, South Australia) with my other two children and my grandchild and SWMBO.
Did a bit of ATG on the jawline, always a tricky thing to do with this razor.
Actually, I'm posting this on return from the wood fired pizza place, as Maximilian seems not to want to start this thread at some un-godly hour his time and I had to wait... :-)
Razor: Klas Törnblom Pre Shave: Proraso Überlather: Crabtree and Evelyn Nomad/Body Shop Macca Root/Glycerin ASB: Proraso After Shave: None
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

.Locale: The Burbs of Denver Music: Guess Who - Anthology Prep: Hot Shower / Greek Olive Oil Soap / Conditioner Razor: I Honed 2 razors today, My 5/8 Salamandar, and a new G&F 6/8 Hones: King 800 / Norton 4/8k / PHIG / CrOx / New Star 3" 25/50 Brush: Custom Silvertip in Honey Locust / Gerogetown G1 Scuttle Post: Cold Water Splash - Alum Uber: Cella + Speik AS: Jock Soap Tall Drink Face Balm Edt: Deep Blue Result: I Honed my Salamandar and my newly arrived G&F 'Hamburg Ring' Timor. Both passed the TNT and popped arm hair. I've learned about shaving with a dull razor, so I started with the G&F on a small place and checked it. Nothing removed. I then did the next space with the Salamandar and it was clean and slick. I did more with the Sal and had half a face done in no time. I re-lathered the other side and again tried the G&F on a small area, but nothing was removed, so I finished this side with the Sal. I was able to do a nice 3 pass with the Sal. The G&F is gonna take more work on the hones. The Salamandar gets to return to it's place in the rotation/collection.
*No Photo, the kid used all the batteries in the house. None left for my camera when I needed them!
Happy Shaves Men!!!!
Mike-- Any day I get out of bed, and the first thing out of my mouth is not a groan, that's going to be a good day --
