    Default Sunday

I'm heading out into the woods today with the whole family.
Absolutely lovely weather this weekend, and such great colors this time of year.

Pre-Shave: a quick wash this AM, the shower comes later
    Brush: Rooney's Finest
Razor: Devin Thomas custom. Feather Damascus in fossilized Mammoth bone
    Strop: Kanayama #90000 tri strop
Soap/Cream: "B's Super-Special concoction" A mix of about a dozen soaps and creams that didn't impress too much on their own, but in this mix it is superlicious
    Scuttle:Schwarzweisskeramik, Large White
Astringent: Osma Alum, rinse, Thayer's Medicated SuperHazel
EdT: None, will go with Penhaligon's English Fern after our forrest trip
Results: A very smooth and comfortable shave this AM. This razor is quite unique, Devin sure is a whizzard with steels.

    Location: Coffs Harbour Australia
    Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
    Cream: C.O. Bigelow
    Brush: Silvertip Badger in Cocobolo
    Razor: Bengall "Sawn Off" 11/16
    Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel
    Balm: C.O. Bigelow Mentha
After 2 hours of mowing lawns, followed by a shower, my face was well prepped. Which was good because I was sporting 4 or 5 days worth of growth on my face.
I just received a package in the mail from Glenn (Sharp) who knew how much I liked the Mentha sample he sent me a while back and sent me a whole bottle, and Bigelow cream to go with it.
Both products were fantastic. The menthol balm is such a great way to finish a shave after a hot day.
    Thank you Glenn
    3 passes and I'm BBS.

Tell your boy Happy Birthday from all of the SOTD brothers! Sounds like a great way to spend the day.

Did a bit of ATG on the jawline, always a tricky thing to do with this razor.

Actually, I'm posting this on return from the wood fired pizza place, as Maximilian seems not to want to start this thread at some un-godly hour his time and I had to wait... :-)

    Razor: Klas Törnblom

Ready to head out for Reserve duty. I'm freshly shaved, and smelling good. Makes a man feel like a man to start his day this way!
