L'Occitane Bonne Mere Rose Soap,
GFT Violet SC,
Simpson Duke,
Dovo 5/8 / 60 Laps N.Miller Black Latigo,
L'Occitane Alum Stone,
GFT Coral SF,
Lanvin L'Homme Sport EdT.
A few points gentlemen:
A) No sniggering at the back! The rose soap is my daughters and I like it when I'm using my Rose or, as today, my Violet cream.
B) Talking of which I must use that Violet cream more often and when its done I will buy a TUB!
C) Don't know why I used the Duke today? I normally use either the Colonel or my old re-knotted Eagle when using creams........Lesson learnt here. The Dukes a great brush soap or cream!
D) I've been thinking about buying one of Neils Linen strops for ever. Note to self......STOP thinking and do it.
E) ...........I know there's an E in here somewhere??
Ah yes an Excellent shave.
Good morning gents.
Oscar.

With the exception of the 444 balm, none of this stuff is made nowadays.
Colgate Cup soap (probably from the 50's)
Semogue 1550 (late 90's)
Joseph Rodgers straight razor (ca. 1820-1830)
444 balm
Old Spice Musk by Shulton (late 80s)

Happy Halloween! He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Thanked: 146Happy Halloween!
Prep: Hot Shower / Proraso pre-post creme
Brush: AOS Pure Badger
Soap: CADE SS / AOS SC unscented
Razors: FWE "Perfect Temper" 11/16" and 9/16"
Post: Proraso AS / AOS AS balm unscented
Result: Took the 11/16" to the hones and got great results. Smooth like butter with the CADE scent, that's the good part. The 9/16" however is a different story. Took that to the hones and the spine is slightly warped so it did not cooperate quite as much...very close, but needs some more attention. My oldest son has expressed an interest and this razor will be his, if it ever gets sharp! LOL (it will!)
