    Default Safety Shaving

Safety is the most important thing!

    Brush: VDH
Razor: 1930's Shumate passed down from my great-grandfather
    Cream: C.O. Bigelow

I'm loving this razor. The shave is very comfortable and smooth and the fact that it is a piece of personal history is just outstanding.

    Razor:Bismark
    Brush:Rooney Pure Badger
    Soap:Arko Shave Stick
    AS:Thayers Lavender and Hai Karate
Result:Another razor that recently made it to the hones.Only had to do a light touchup to bring it back to where it needs to be.The Arko gave plenty of glide and cushion to effortlessly wipe away the stubble with the Bismark.Sadly I am at the end of my bottle of Hai Karate.May have to break down and buy a bottle on the bay as I love the scent.Have a great Saturday everyone.

I recently picked up this John S Holler Celebrated razor with horn scales and lead wedge. Very little cleanup was needed and after a trip down the yellow brick road (la Vienette) it just just glided through the stubble.

I also can't say enough about this short loft, overstuffed silvertip from The Golden Nib. It's very soft, has great backbone, holds lots of water and whips up a ton of lather. Only $44 and it is giving my premium brushes costing 4x as much a run for the money.
