My birthday shave (yesterday)

6/8's Clauberg Tonsorial Gem
Some beatup old no-name horsehair brush
Seagraves mug with a hodgepodge mixture of Williams, Wilkinson, Arko, maybe even some of the old Seagraves, some scraps of Ivory bath soap and a "pea" of lanolin. It has a very faint smell, probably mostly the Arko. And lathers up beautifully.
Finished up with Pinaud Citrus Musk (in the Lagavulin bottle) and McGraw Southern Blend.

I had the day off so I had plenty of time for a marvelous 3-pass shave. Regular 8 O'Clock coffee with maple syrup for sweetener, but I'm told there is a Tasimo coffee maker on the way.

And my daughter took me to see Hugo (a great movie, for all ages).

All-in-all a good day
