Summary: Today I was finally able to break in my new SRP 2011 group buy Thäter brush. Had it soak for 10 minutes while I was taking a shower. Whipped up a ton of vetiver lather in no time. What can I say. It felt like being on cloud 9. The brush and shave was just sublime. It was all I expected it to be and more. Extremely soft and luxurious tips, backbone, resilience and a nice density. It just sucked on to my face like a sponge. I had enough leftover lather to go another round or 2. The handle is a perfect fit. Overall I would classify this brush as A+. Off course I had to use my vetiver products to celebrate. I hope everyone else who joined the group buy is as happy and satisfied as myself.
Oh Max...That brush is a beauty . The fact that it is "sublime" is not surprising...after all, we all know the Master Designer; "YOU". I can't wait to get mine. It was supposed to be Friday, got pushed to today and now it looks like (hopefully) Monday

    Good morning friends.

At the christmas market we met a lot of people. In 2013 we'll send a church choir to our sister city Lynchburg, VA and therefor we need a lot of money. We spoke with local politicians and some donors.
    It works, I think.

    Have a nice sunday.

Todays shave a bit early as i'm off to a wedding later on today, the feather AS-D1 made mince meat of my two days growth, super smooth two pass shave, the only trouble the wedding is in Brecon 20 miles from home so i'm the driver and no drinking for me such a shame, but still i.m really looking forward to the Hog roast and the crispy crackling.

    Location: Coffs Harbour Australia
    Strop: Osgar Vintage Shell Horse
Brush: Premium A Silvertip Badger in Cocobolo
Uber: Proraso Soap, C.O. Bigelow Cream, Glycerin
    Razor: Simmons Barber's Pet 5/8
    Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel
    Balm: C.O. Bigelow Mentha
The Barber's pet did a great job removing the 3 days of growth, but the star of tonights shave was the Uber.
I love this combination, especially on a summer evening after spending a couple of hours mowing the lawn.
    Just so REFRESHING
I really need a menthol/cooling aftershave liquid to top off this combination.
last night i ordered a bottle of Aqua Velva Ice Blue from ebay. I've never used it or smelled it before but fingers crossed I, and SWMBO will like it.

Great job Angel. No surprise with the Fili. Are you still in Brazil?

LOOOOOOOL. Ain't that the truth? As to brush, it'll make its debut on Tuesday (hopefully). The postman arrives daily, usually after 11:30-ish, way after my shave

    Otto,
Nice to see you back my friend. Beautiful shave as always, but I am curious about the Mozarts (music and razor); coincidence or deliberate? Either way, I love it
