It's good to be back, that's for sure (and SWMBO appreciates the return to smooth after so many days of scruffy). Those older Bow Razors are quite nice and I just picked up another one from the mailbox today. It's a nice wide one at 13/16 and it is calling to me already. I foresee much restoration in my future!

Interesting Experiment
I was looking forward to this shave. Crazy day. Almost ran over by a car speeding through a convience store parking lot, not looking in the direction he was driving. Sorry Bill next time i wont jump over his hood to avoid being hit and you can represent me. LOL
Ok Wosty Hollow ground was honed with my Cmon's. The Blackie was used in my last shave but was just ok. Since HAD hit over the past few weeks. LOL! I decided to use a few Barber hones. I pick out some acording to how their grit felt. (All came from Mike MJHAMMER)
Aloxite=course 1-2k
Perfection=Maybe 5k
Swaty=Maybe 9k
These are all guesses as to the grit. This is my first time useing them. OK so i used lather on all the stones. I only did 10 passes on each. Tested on my cheek. No way.OUCH! So i used my Thuri 18 with lather and 8 with water. WOW! It really made a huge diff. So one side with the wosty and other with C-mon. For so few passes, also needing a stone between the course and perfection, and i think more laps. The C-mon gave me a great shave. Better than my last shave with it. The Wosty was just as good. Funny thing is i have a little irritation from the Wosty. Thats due to the 1/4 hollow to near wedge. They always give me a little irritation.
