First Shave Of 2012
Happy New Year Gentlemen
Prep: Shower
Strop: SRD, Premium 1 Leather 30,70
Brush: TOBS Silvertip
Cream: Proraso
Razor: Dovo master's
AS: Alum
Fragrance: Chopard, Noble Vetiver
Today was a work day for me, nice 3 pass shave, very smooth.
My bathroom has cooled off from 45˚C or so in the summer down to 22˚C. My strop seems to have developed more draw, I think it's probably holding more moisture and I left my brush out to dry this morning andWOW it just seems to have doubled in size by this evening, I'm guessing the slow drying.

1000th Post!!!
Gem Junior-Gem Persona SS-Fuller Synthetic-Arko Regular Cream-Thayers Lavender-Avon Spicy
Due to a bit of a New Years hangover, I decided to go with a nice, simple shave. Both the Gem junior and the Fuller brush are recent aquisitions. The Gem, as are all Gems, is a wonderful shaver. The brush was the real star of the show though. Over the years I've tried many different synthetic brushes and found them all lacking. This Fuller, found new in it's box, Whipped up one of the more luxurious lathers I've had in a while. Overall great three pass shave, even though I had to sit down in between passes due to above mentioned hangover.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Congratulations, Theseus. And an auspicious day for an auspicious occasion...
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.
