    Another Fili Friday for me Gents ... Took this one back to the stones last night and made some real progress. I used a magnifier to gain a better understanding and it worked! Just as sharp but much smoother than I have achieved in the past but no where near the edge Glen put on my Monkhouse. Im encouraged tho and know that I can Get there . Have a great weekend Gents!

    This shave happend a week ago from today in a remote part of Panama, Kuna indian reservation on the caribbean side. Since I'm back in civilization I thought I post it today!

    Prep: skin diving for about an hour follow by well water rinse.
    Rasor: Merkur Futur with Astra blade
    Cream: Castle Forbe lime shaving cream
    Brush: Vie-long horse hair
    AS: Nivea After shave Balm

    Well it's been about 3 years since I made a SOTD Post.

    Razor - J.A. Henckels, Twin Works (My camera on the blink so no Shaving Porn)
    Lather - Dove body soap with VDH Shaving soap and 6 drops of Glyn
    Strop - B&B 23" leather
    Mug - Very Large Mug (had a small plant in it at one time)

    I just received the razor Yesterday and all I did was Strop it 100 times.. It shaved good, But needs some honing. Not as good as My W&B Bow razor.
