What a great day in Vegas today. Smooth and awesome shave, fired up the grill and spend the day with John (cabledawg) eating and drinking. We ended the day smoking a nice cigar and watching the UFC fight on Fox. A great day indeed and a great way to start off the new week of the SOTD.
Gents. enjoy the new week!

Razor: The Mutant 6/8

I find these fixed blade razors so much fun to use. I'd love to find the time and the right candidate to make another one.
Maybe something with a wedgier grind would suit me well I think.
The Mutant combined with the Cade gave me a great 2 pass DFS, a great way to relax on a Sunday evening.
Looking forward to another week of SOTD posts boys, have a good one.

Thanked: 485Sunday
A good start to the day. Out to lunch with SWMBO; shared a plate of delectable delights and had a glass of Chardonnay. Then ‘round my son’s to drill some holes in the bottom of a wine barrel he’s going to grow herbs in. Home, and a beer or two (I’m cutting down) and sitting down now to a late afternoon of honing.
The shave was excellent. I LOVE the O Melhor, you need the teeniest amount to get a great lather!
Needed some facial moisturiser today, I think maybe I over did the face lathering the other day.
Anyone heard from Robert lately? Or do I just keep on missing him?
PS the 'Like' button's disappeared again too!!!
Have a good week, people...

The edge on this Japanese razor is really holding on and I got another great BBS shave. The Palmolive and the Thäter make a great combination.

Razor: C. W. Dahlgren, 7/8 wedge barber's notch
Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
