While I'd definitely still consider myself a beginner, I got a sticky smooth shave with 3 passes and the Floid Amber was so good I kind of wanted to reapply when the menthol wore off

Also, uploading 2 of my christmas/chanukah gifts from my awesome girlfriend. She got 2 shaving-related prints framed to hang up in our VERY lavender bathroom...to man-ify it up a bit

Looking forward to participating in SOTD's this year!

Nothing like getting your caffeine fix before a straight shave. I used to drink coffee before qualifying at work. I didn't shoot any better, just faster.....

    Lazy Sunday Afternoon Shave:

Hot Shower with Stephan's rubbed into the whiskers (felt great, did it three times).
    Warm Oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    Custom Badger Brush
RazoRock Shave Cream Classic Shaving Cream Soap
Maxtom, Spanish Point,13/16, 3/8 Hollow, G10 Jade Ghost tapered with a Bloody Red Jasper Recon Stone tapered wedge
    SRD P1 Strop, 50 felt, 75 leather
    RazoRock Aluminum
    Pinaud Bay Rum AS
    Vaseline for men.

After a late breakfast with the family, I really enjoy Sunday afternoon shaves. Very relaxing and enjoyable and today was no different. The combination of hardware and software provided an absolutely wonderful shave. After the BBT, the wife commented that it is probably the closest she has felt. Nice!!

I tried to use a light diffuser today to get a better photograph. For 18 bucks, it seems to work well. Any tips would help!!!

Enjoy the rest of your day.
