    Monday

    Dovo Bismarck 6/8
    Altesse badger brush
    Omega soap
    Aqua Velva Ice Sport

Sunday morning's shave was so close that stubble was still fairly light this morning. The Bismarck made quick work of what was there leaving me near BBS in three passes (I didn't realize my chin could have been closer until I was on my way in to work). The Ice Sport provided a fine finish to start my work week.

    Navaja: Wacker 7/8" Feinster Hohlschliff
    Asentado: Prima Rindleder
    Maquinilla: Merkur 37C HD
Hoja y uso: Feather tercer uso
    After-shave: Speick Splash
    Eau de Toilette: Cedrat Nicolaï

RazWar soap is a good unscented saop. Despite it, I miss the soft scent of my loving english shaving creams. I used the slant razor for details. This hasn't been the best shave, Speick lotion was... just there, can ear it -use me, use me!!!

    Good evening friends!

    Shave prep: Face wash
    Brush: Haryali badger
Soap: Van der Hagen / Palmolive cream / glycerin
    Scuttle: Robert Becker large
    Razor: C. W. Dahlgren, 7/8 wedge barber's notch
    Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Vetiver Rose home made splash
Notes: Today I had one of those rare 1-pass shaves. Rehoned on a welsh mystery slate hone, finer than the Llyn Melynllyn, supposedly. Absolutely fenomenal experience, comfortable and relaxing. The vetiver rose is just sexy, a perfect ending to a brilliant shave.

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 1
Razor: Vintage Dovo 6/8 half hollow
    Honing Regimen: Chosera 1K - Naniwa SS 3K - 8K - Dragons Tongue - Llyn Melynllyn
Strop: 40/60 Neil Miller Linen/Kanayama Cordovan
    Soap: Valobra stick
    After shave: Knize Ten
Results: The new Dragons Tongue/Llyn Melynllyn arrived today, and inpatient as I am I had to try it immediately. Honed up the new Dovo, and had a extremely nice shave, the razor got very sharp and smooth. First impression of the LM is very good, I will do some more testing the next few wees, but it's very promising so far.

    Hot shower, Stephan's, Warm Oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    New Forest Badger Brush
    MWF, straight up.
Filarmonica DT 13, full hollow 6/8
    Pinaud Bay Rum AS
    Vaseline for men

Just got this back from Max. I had bumped the edge into a glass jar which left a slight ding in the bevel. I sent it to Max with the hope of not loosing the thing to stupidity. The razor is back the jar is moved and I had a great shave. THANKS MAX!!!!!!!

I played with the white balance as Max suggested. Got a better picture but not without shadow on the razor. Still working on a better picture!!
