Just a dome shave this morning. After yesterday's epic shave, I just didn't have enough on my face to even bother with but I did need a haircut. A few days of head stubble is a great test for a razor's edge. This one did a passable job but did have a little bit of pull, maybe a quick touch up before my next shave. The older I get, the better I was

First SOTD!
Well men, I've been checking the SOTD threads for probably over a year now and always get a kick out of seeing everyone's awesome kit. So, one of my new years resolutions is to participate more in SOTD!
Prep: Hot Shower
Soap: Geo F. Trumpers Almond
Brush: 26mm Rooney's Finest 1 2-Band - got it from the last batch ever of Rooney's finest that ClassicShaving had last year...KILLER brush
Strop: Pegasus V Cordovan & Suede
Razor: Near NOS 5/8 DD Wonderedge - polished, tightened, and honed by gssixgun Glenn
Aftershave: Floid Amber
While I'd definitely still consider myself a beginner, I got a sticky smooth shave with 3 passes and the Floid Amber was so good I kind of wanted to reapply when the menthol wore off
Also, uploading 2 of my christmas/chanukah gifts from my awesome girlfriend. She got 2 shaving-related prints framed to hang up in our VERY lavender bathroom...to man-ify it up a bit
Looking forward to participating in SOTD's this year!
Justin
