1986 Smith and Wesson 645, 45 ACP. We used 230gr. Hollow point silver tip ammo. This pareticular pistol was issued to me for Tac-Pac usage, not patrol. Tac-Pac carried them during operations for testing, then they were adopted for permanent usage. Big and heavy, it had little recoil but had a severe psychological effect on bad guys who were used to seeing blue steel revolvers. One mutt asked me if we were vampire hunting since he could look down the barrel and see the silver bullet. I just gave him an evil grin.

Nothing like a BBS face for a black tie event! The R41 certainly delivers that. And the D.R. Harris über worked flawlessly. Now to pick a fragrance for the evening... If only I had a few options in my wardrobe...

First time trying across the grain shaving. I think I cut myself four or five times. My technique is improving!

Hot shower followed by AoS Lavender Pre-Shave Oil
    AoS Lavender cream
    3-pass shave with Merkur HD
Changed things up with a splash of Pinaud Clubman (Old Reliable!)

Gonna try the Pinaud Bay Rum AS next. After all, international master spy Sterling Archer maintains that Bay Rum is the only scent a gentleman ever needs!
