Welcome! How's it all going? Is it working out?[/QUOTE]
It's going really well. I took the advice of most on th forum and started really slowly to just get used to the razor. I also took it to a guy here in Los Angeles that has been sharpening barber instruments for over 50 years to get a nice edge on my razor. That made all the difference in the world. I may need to find a different aftershave. The wife didn't like the scent of the Pineaud very much, so gotta keep her happy.

Thanked: 88Mine hated everything I could find cheaper than the fragrance dept at Macy's until I found Nivea For Men (I think the fragrance is called Energy). It's drug-store-priced, smells vaguely classic, but modern enough to not get the "you smell like my dad" comments.

New arrival
So, the mailman brought me something special today, and I just ripped the package and went straight for a shave.
It is a close to 10/8 made by Robert Williams, based on a sketch I drew for him to work from.
He made it a half hollow, but at this size, that equals a singing hollow.
It was like adding butter to a well done slice of toast
The result?
