Thanked: 0Can't speak for others here but as far as I'm concerned post away with DE stuff. That's what I usually use through the week due to time constraints. But I LOVE my straights on the weekends, days off, and holidays.

Thanked: 4942I'm open either way. The main purpose in founding this forum was that there really was no other Straight Razor Forum available at the time. Thus the premise to learn about honing, shaving, stropping, collecting, restoring and any another topic regarding straight razors. Information regarding DE's is very cool and I have a small collection of them, mainly adjustables, myself. We will always be comparing the shaves and many converts either use them during the week or touch up with them. There is also a very common bond considering the entire wet shaving regime.
I'm not trashing any of my good brushes in any case and will wait for Joel to send me one of his new ones......hahahahaha.
Happy Holidays,
Lynn

Absolutamente, Randy, que pena. Y Joel es tan loco I don't know whether to laugh at the Maxim-style testing or to lament the waste of a good brush

The title of this forum is SOTD. It doesn't say Straight SOTD does it? I think the other forums by the nature of the titles will limit any chance of them getting watered down by posts about other shaving techniques so I have no problem with DE posts here or for that matter any shaving methods giving a good shave just as long as guys don't start talking about the motors in their high tech electric razors.
