    SOTD:

    Prep: Warm Shower
    Pre-shave: Castle Forbes
    Soap: MWF
    Razor: JR Torrey
    Brush: Semogue 830
    Balm: Skincado
    AS: Clubman Lilac

Good shave today. I got some MWF shampoo which is really great. I soaked my beard in it while I was showering up. I did a two pass shave, nearly silky smooth all over. I had not shaved in a few days but the whiskers seemed to fall away easily to the Torrey. Last night I had a memorial dinner at a place called Poe's Pub. I even allowed myself a beer. Due to certain religious beliefs I shy away from alcohol but it was for my Dad. The last meal we had together was at Poe's. So for all those that have lost or will lose someone my heart goes out to you. The pain does diminish with time but the wound is still there.

This is actually yesterday's shave but today's is going to be the exact same! It was a really nice shave, and my first time trying Cella. So far I like it!

Razor: 4/8-ish Geo Wostenholm Pipe Razor
    Prep: hot water, Barbasol
    Brush: VDH boar
Soap: Shea Moisture Shave Butter and Barbasol
    A/S: witch hazel, Joop Homme
    Result: A great shave

This razor was the worst rusted out, bug bitten piece of trash I ever saw until I decided I wanted to shave with it today. What a nice shave it provided!

6/23/12--Night Shave is cooler, so I'm not dripping sweat during the shave.

    stephan, cold shower
simpson, SRD Lavender soap, SRD bowl--COLD lather
    W&B 5/8
    60-100 laps on TM
    Thayer's AS, Nivea "energy" lotion

On a bad note, I think I may have a sensitivity to lavender. Nothing too bad, but I get some sore spots and a bit of a "hot mask" feeling. 2 Passes to BBS.

Really? It's cool, isn't it? I really like the first song. The actual playing is quite aggressive, as it's a Pearl Jam song. But I like the lyrics too. I think it's about a guy wanting to die, really...
The other songs of course I like too, but Pearl Jam and I go way back. They came to Adelaide a couple of years ago with Ben Harper, and I was lucky enough to go and see them. I like the sorts of concerts where you can sing along with every word; I like a lot of audience participation at concerts, even though I'm a solitary person I do like the herd mentality of a good concert.
