Thanked: 98/8 W&B Barber's Use 2nd try
The first time this razor got ~9 out of 10 and while nice did not enter the circle of my select few. But I recognized the potential and like it anyway so it got some hone love.
I don't even know how many days w/o shaving
Hot shower
olive oil soap
BBW conditioner
L'Occitane CADE soap
Burma Shave brush
Large Moss scuttle
Tony Miller 3'' strop
The 8/8 W&B
Alum block
ice cube
Lucky Tiger AS Skin toner
L'Occitane CADE AS Balm
Very interesting feel this time from the razor. Mowed the growth very easily, much sharper than before, but did not feel very smooth, for some reason, as some other razors I have tried (such as 8/8 Fili). Nevertheless, 2 passes, no irritation / cuts and a great shave. Not BBS, which I never strive for anyway, just good and comfortable.
My lather had a bit too much water (not thin really, but not as I would prefer as I accidentally splashed some more water in the bowl and had to work extra to aerate it). I wonder if the strange lack of smoothness could have come from this?
This time I gave it 9+ and it is IN! If I can improve the smoothness it may go even up to 10.
Cheers

TI Sheffield Steel 6/8 round point
Rooney #1 large silvertip
Institute Karite shea butter soap
Alum
Rinse
Proraso A/S splash
Proraso pre-post
First shave with the TI - it had been honed and the wear on the spine is slightly uneven - I gave it a few licks on the 3, 1, .5 and .25 micron pasted strop, 25 laps on the linnen and about 50 on the leather.
Shaved very well and I think that with some tuning this is going to be a great razor - this is the first full hollow larger than 5/8 I've shaved with and I really like the additional heft and lather holding capacity of the bigger blade.
Still not ready to try a 7/8 - but I've only been at this for about 3 weeks now.

I'm getting sick of the Nomad soap Whenever I use it my shave is bad. It will be relegated to being a bath soap and a more deserving soap will make it into this shaving bowl. I've used it with various blades and it always:
1) Gives me a harsh shave
2) Dries out too quickly (and I've tested it with various soap/water ratios)
On a good note, the Tonsorial Gem gave this foul experience a smooth finish.
