I tried some of Scott's ideas in terms of stropping and angle of attack and things went well. It was my best shave yet, but as I'm still learning each shave is better than the previous. One of these days I might get a new brush--this one was my dad's from before I was born and I don't think it was great then.

Saturday - plenty of time for a liesurely shave.

Both of these razors have been waiting for a test shave for a while, I switched back and forth between them. I was pleased with both, particularly the Henckels as it handled so well.

It's nice to be home after a week on the road.
