L'Occitane Cade Shaving Soap-VDH Badger-Top Flight Razor in Bocote-AOS Balm-Pinaud Clubman Lotion
Decent Shave. Lotion is sill biting a little too much. I have relegated the PDP soap as a pre-shave. Seems to be working ok. I think I am going to keep two to three soaps in my rotation from now on. The Cade is great but I think it is also going to be relegated as a pre shave soap. Do not get me wrong. It is great. I just wanna keep it simple. Also, last night, we had a bonfire and I ate way too many S'mores. From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place

Thanked: 603I loved Conway Twitty -- solo, and with Loretta Lynn. The first song by him that I heard was in 1968: an Elvis-like tune called Lonely Blue Boy

Pre-emptive SOTD post for me! Am out early tomorrow am so won't have much time in the morning for the obligatory photo, so this hear is my pre-planned SOTD for Monday. I used my new to me DORKO clippers on my half bald head today too, these things are awesome, they mow through what little hair I have on my head like a Saskatchewan wheat farmers combine swathing through a wheat field

Enjoyed what is quickly becoming a Sunday tradition around my house: workout, long shower, than a relaxing hot towel shave in my beautiful restored 1905 Koken. This was my first shave with my Thomas Ward. I have fallen in love with vintage Sheffield Steel, and the Ward doesn't disappoint. Two passes, CCS.
Have a great week my friends!
