TUESDAY
Hot shower prep
Razor: NOS 11/16ths Germania “Uncle Sam” (Germany)
Soap: Lavanda (Portugal)
Mug: Soup cup
Brush: Barbershop boar ( Austria)
Aftershock: none needed
Splash: TARR ( Romania)
The razor was as hard to hone as my HESS 44 stainless or the Solingen Stainless. It took about 4 hours to get it close to right. Back to 800 and then up again gently to keep from micro-chipping. I have heard it said that American razors are hard...Cheeze! The Lavanda whipped to a glorious lather and the shave was very smooth. The TARR is always a great wake-up experience!

The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

Geramania Cutlery was owned by the Kastor Brothers of New York, an import house that was the owner of many German and other international cutlery companies. The Nazis confiscated the company in 1938.
