No shaving gear pic. However, the posted photo is a restored building in downtown Richmond, near VCU. I took it some time ago. I am down in North CakaLacky for a bit seeing family. I brought the Invicta to shave with, some MWF soap and the Kyoku ASB. The Invicta was not doing so well. I am glad I brought my Norton 4/8 stone with me. I think I might have rolled the edge by slapping it on the bottom of the strop. Anyway, up to snuff, the razor slid through the whiskers. Good Shave. I am still faceturbating at the time of writing this.
Also, I was at Target with my sis and purchased some Dickinson's Witch Hazel, sort of a post post shave. Hmm, seems to work just as well as Thayer's. It might not have some of the extras but I guess Witch Hazel is Witch Hazel. Though I have never tried the generic drug store brand stuff. I was gonna buy a small bottle of Pinaud but did not feel like coughing up the seven plus dollars for it when I still have a big bottle at home that I purchased for about nine bucks.

Nice shave with the little J A Hellberg this morning, this is a nice little razor, really. After that the day went south so to speak with a bit of a road rage incident on the way to work where I invited the offender out of his car. He apologised, ‘for whatever he had done wrong’ and I accepted that, shook his hand, and went on my way. I probably need to not take things so personally, maybe…
(Soap:Nomad)+(Razor:J A Hellberg)+(AfterShaveR Harris+(EDT:Whisky)=NiceShave
(isn't that hilarious, I typed a colon ( and a letter D for D R Harris and it got converted to a smiley!)
(and then it did again!!!!)(LOL)
(but into a different smiley!!!!)
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

A little of background for the brush can be found here. At my parents for the holiday. I had ordered a travel brush and had it sent here. Its not here yet but I found this instead. Either way brings back memories. It shed a bit and it is starting to break in. It sure whipped that bar soap into lather like no one's business. I had to lather twice as the lather was half gone by the time I got to the right side of my face. Nuetral scent to the hotel soap but nice glide to it. The shavette gave a nice shave but I need to rethink how to attack the neck with it. A little red around the gills. No nicks though. Just a pressure problem I think. Other than that BBS.Last edited by Pyrateknight; 11-21-2012 at 02:34 PM.
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?
