Thanked: 3222Pre - Alum block
Brush - Semogue 1350 Boar
Strop - 3 inch bridle leather with hard felt
Razor - Wostie Peerless 5/8
Scuttle - Robert Becker
Soap - Vitos Red+TBS Macca Root with 3 drops glycerin and 1 drop lanolin
Post - Alum block followed by Thayers witch hazel
What a great soap/brush combination producing tons of rich creamy lather. My wife kept the razor when my father in-law passed and allows me to use it. He was a nice man and I feel privileged to be trusted to use it. All in all a good shave. Hope your shave is even better.

Predictably Predictable
Hot Shower
Invicta Razor
MWF Shaving Soap
Semogue 830 Brush
Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Great Shave. My shaves have become predictable but I think I just found some products I really like to shave with. From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place

had a lunch time shave today ... not as nice of a shave this time as the last but still a smooth enjoyable shave with a hint of a little razor burn in one spot ..lol..
well the mail man brought me my new soup and bowl today so it was a for sure that i had to test it out and put the blade to the face . for some reason i just couldnt get focused so i wasnt as relaxed as i usually am but all in all i was satisfied with the results !!
i hit an antique store yesterday and picked up a pewter bowl for $5 that seemed to be a perfect size and best of all im not gonna break it ..lol..

Thanked: 1072Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
Brush: Comoy Badger
Soap: Tabac
Razor: Royal Invicta 6/8
Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel
Balm: Nivea Replenishing
A/S: Old Spice
I put the Invicta up against 3 days of growth tonight, and as expected it performed beautifully.
Just a lazy one pass tonight, but a damn good pass it was.
I picked up my new car this afternoon. This is the first brand new car I've ever owned.
Just a little economical car to get me to work and back (my wife has the Toyota van to move the whole family around), but I'm really happy with it.
Thanks for the posts and pics boys

Tragic Wednesday
Well, the morning seemed to be starting off well. I woke up at my usual time, and got every thing set for my morning shave. I put a bit of water on the puck of DR Harris Windsor soap, got the Manchurian Rover soaking whilst I stropped up the Le Grelot and had a nice hot shower. The lather was wonderful, and I did two quick passes leaving the face nice and smooth. The shave was outstanding!
I finished getting dressed, took the dogs out and went to put away the razor. That's where the day went down hill quickly! As I turned to the cabinet where I keep them, the razor slipped out of my hand. It hit the floor and I was left with this:
A moment of silence please! He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.
-- Samuel Taylor Coleridge
