    Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
    Brush: Silvertip Badger
    Soap: Proraso
Razor: Wade & Butcher "For Barber's Only"
    Astringent: Thayer's Witch Hazel
    Balm: Nivea
    A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
The weather here has been HOT all week and today was no exception, and with temperatures like this Proraso is my go to soap.
I focused closely on my technique tonight and was rewarded with a 2 pass BBS from the Wade & Butcher.
    A fantastic Sunday night shave.

I watched The Godfather last night. I've seen this 1972 classic 3 times in my life, each time being probably 10 years apart.
Every time I have watched it I have seen it through a new/older perspective, and appreciate different things about the movie.
I loved watching it again, great story, directing, locations, and a cast of legends.

    have a great week gentlemen.

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 2
    Razor: Iwasaki kamisori
    Soap: Cade
AS: Tiger face lotion + TOBS Victorian Lime
    Edt: Penhaligon's Castile
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean

This large (8/8) and heavy kamisori is my least aggressive one, the size and pure weight scares me every time I take it out, but it's really a nice kitten kamisori (even though I got a small scratch under my honker). PS to Grant - I change weather with you any day too, it's bloody freezing here with around - 8 degrees Celcius and snow shoveling on the menu today.

I was in Brazil for some time and each Christmas the temperature was soaring plus humidity. It made for a strange holiday. Plus, instead of turkey we had some sort of weird looking mammal, cannot remember the name. Moments like that make you home sick. However, I got over it and dug in and sang some X-mas songs.

Today I'm trying out some new product I just bought. The Shea Moisture line.
I like the cream, nice clean & light citris scent.
The Tea Tree Herbal Aftershave Elixir I need to give it a few more shots before I pass judgment. Its got a real grapefruit scent. And all it reminds me is cracking a container of grapefruit juice. Luckily its not a strong lingering scent.
I found the cream was real hard to lather, will try a stiffer brush next time

Gentlemen may you all have a good and fruitful Sunday. (And in my case looks like is gonna be a Grape-Fruitful Sunday)
