I spent from 9AM til 12 midday mowing the lawn on a HOT Aussie Summer day. When I was finished it was straight into the shower followed by a cooling shave.
I touched up this razor last night on my brand new Naniwa 12k. I really like the way the stone feels and the edge was fantastic.
An awesome Sunday 2 pass shave.
Thanks for the great posts and pics boys & have a great week.

Thanked: 3228Pre - Alum block
Brush - No name don't know where it came from
Soap - Cella
Razor - Gillette Fat Boy on setting #6
Blade - Astra SP
Post - Alum block followed by Thayers witch hazel
Started badly with a W&B near wedge that I have been trying to hone up. After 2 strokes it became apparent that I had not succeeded yet in getting a good edge on it. I hate honing this particular wedge, it may wind up a 3/8 by the time I'm done with it. Fat Boy to the rescue and what a great shave it gave me, as good as any straight. Love that Fat Boy and blade combo. All's well that ends well. Hope you have a better start.
