An almost all French Shave:
Le Grelot | MdC | Semogue | Rancé Le Vainqueur
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Strop - 3 inch bridle leather/hard felt
Razor - W&B almost wedge with Fat Boy assist/save
Brush - Vulfix 660 med super silver tip
Soap - Arko in a bowl
Post - Alum block followed with Thayers witch hazel
Well, it's official, I give up on the W&B near wedge. Not worth the agro playing with honing it on the limited skill set I have. I am thinking letter opener, maybe. Hope your shave goes better than mine did.

Yesterday, road trip Eastward. Today: Dreary; to be brightened by a visit from Randy. The Shave: After finding, cleaning, and honing the razor yesterday, it gave a very pleasant shave. A hundred laps on water buffalo and the edge was to HHT-3+, Plenty good for a first shave. Since the razor was all but new at the bevel, I needed a very low shave angle to take best advantage of the edge. Every thing else played well with the newby and I was close shaven in two.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!
