    Hot shower, Stephan's, Warm Oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
Custom badge, ebony body with a Lignum Vitae top cap 28 MM knot.
    AOS Lavender Shave Cream
Henry Sears and Son, 6/8, Near Wedge, Barber's Notch, Mokume Gane Black/White Burl with a tapered photoluminesent wedge.
    Razorock Aluminum
    Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel
    Vaseline for men.

I don't know why but it felt like the whiskers were being pulled from my skin. After the first pass I decided to try again. Same thing, heavy pulling on my skin to the point where is hurt a bit. I stopped after two passes and figured the razor needs some attention or I really stropped wrong.
Funny part is I did get a very close shave which does not make sense. I guess this one gets some attention tomorrow.

I really hate winter - cold, snow and ice. Every year I get more determined to move south for good.

    Prep - None
    Strop - 3 inch bridle leather/hard felt
Razor - Geo Wostenholm & Son "Peerless" 5/8 spike
Brush - Simpsons QE II Jubilee Manchurian badger
    Soap - MWF
Post - Alum block followes with Thayers witch hazel.

Crisp and clean cold water face lathered shave on this -14c and snowy morning. Finally got a break from the -30c morning temps. Been working on this Wosty a bit here and there and finally it is shaving very smoothly, it was sharp and harsh before. A bit at a time on the Zulu Grey put the smooth into her. Have a good one.

    That made me chuckle.

It's cold here too. That's why I have a beard and no shave today.
