    Sunday
    Hot water prep
Cocodrilo 14 razor - Palmolive sc- Silvertip badger - cold water splash - T&H 1805 ash - hot towel - Floid Mentolado vigoroso

This cream is the cheapest I have and I tend to use it for Uebers mainly, as it has just that quality to bring anything soapy into a perfect ueber. However, today was the pure Palmolive and I had to laugh a bit as to how easy it is to lather this cream. It practically lathers itself. The smell's good, the texture's good, the lather it produces is good and all of that for less than 3 bucks a tube…
A great shave with a freshly stropped Cocodrilo. This blade often outperforms my Filly's. It's my go-to blade for testing and trying new stuff. Have a great week gents!

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: M&F
Razor: Wade and Butcher for barbers only
    Soap: MdC
    AS: Lavanda
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Uberclean

I've been sick and I hadn't shaved in 5 days (that hasn't happened in many, many years), so I brought out some heavy hitters (MdC and the W&B) and it feels sooo good now, even though I'm still weak as a kitten and still sick

    Prep - None
    Strop - 3 Inch bridle leather/hard felt
Razor - Otto Busch "World Master"/stropped night previous
Brush - Muhle Retro silvertip badger
Soap - Williams puck & Old Spice cream, 6 drops glycerine, 1 drop lanolin
Post - Alum block followed Thayers witch hazel
AS - Aqua Velva Ice Blue

I now know what to do with the 2 worst soaps in my stash, make uber lather. The Muhle Retro generated just ridiculous amounts of lather. It made enough lather that I wished the handle was twice as long to keep my fingers out of it. If you want a brush that will generate and hold tons of lather this is one of the brushes that can do it.
