Thanks, Guys. I do appreciate the comments. I am renewing for the folks, now, and down the line and so I get some really weird stuff and often in poor condition as trades.

After so much opulence, here a little frugality.
Thursday morning:
Dr. Harris Marlborough Shaving Soap
Shavemac D01 2Band
Friedrich Herder 7/8
Dr. Harris Sandalwood AS
I like this soap but today the lather was dry all the time. I'm too slow. A "one can do" shave, no pleasure.
Have a nice day!>Jean

Fantastic weather this week in Athens. Summer is coming.
Here are two photos from my Sunday evening mountain run. For those interested in geography or history, the pictures shows Athens and the Saronic bay. The island deep in the horizon is Salamis, where the great naval battle took place, in 480 b.c.

Badger Brush
MWF Soap

Last shave for the week, last day before a long weekend. I am very anxious to see my daughter who returns from Greece on Saturday. She has been gone for the better part of 4 months. Then Saturday evening I have tickets to UFC 159, should be good fights.

Another top quality shave from the Kikuboshi, I swear I cannot remember the last time I took any of my Japanese razor back to the stones for a freshen up they are holding an edge what seems to be forever, and long may it continue.

Thanked: 1072Strop: MickR's Roo HideThanks for the great posts and pics fellas.
Soap: Proraso
Brush: Comoy Badger
Razor: Bengall 6/8
Astringent: Thayer's
Balm: Nivea
A/S: Old Spice
I took this Bengall to the Norton 4/8 and the Naniwa 12K this afternoon.
I just gave it a quick test shave tonight, but it feels good. Best I've ever had this edge in fact (I've had the razor 3 years).
I might just give it a few laps on the Balsa Chrome Ox strop and call it done.
A very nice shave tonight.
