    FRIDAY
    Hot shower prep
    Razor: DoubleDuck Satinedge (rescaled)
    Soap: LAVANDA
    Mug: 50’s
    Brush: generic black badger
    Aftershock: none
    Splash: ESSENCE OF MAN

The DAY? Windy and getting warmer <17ēC. The Shave? A close and pleasant shave this morn. The DD has a good edge. The Lavanda, I had almost forgotten about. A nice zing even though flowery. The Essence is an almost overpowering spice. I use one small spritz on a wet hand to apply it. A nice start to a bright day.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

    Fri, April 26

Pre: Hot Shower No Stropping at all.
    Razor: SRP #078
Brush: TI Super Badger w/ Black Horn
    Scuttle: Dirty Bird Brush Scuttle
    Soap/Cream: TOBS Sandalwood
    Post: Cold water and Alum
    Aftershave: Proraso White

Finally gave my newest razor a go. I wanted to see how the edge actually was before I stropped it. All I can say is dear sweet merciful straight razor in heaven! I am so glad that I got the SRP razor. It is my new favorite! The edge was perfect. Also the smile left my neck smoother than I have ever gotten. And with less effort. When I buy blades in the future they are going to have to smile. The only downside is I don't like the box. But that really isn't a downside since I am building a seven day box for all my odd lengths of razors. Soon my Hart and Williams will have a nice home to rest along side the Mappins and Rodgers.

Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

I hear you. The box was the first thing to go, I saw no need for it, but it was a nice way to ship the razor. Also, mine needed a quick honing and polishing on a Naniwa 12k. It's perfect now, buttery smooth and it makes my face happy. Congrats on #078!

Mine was a wee bit rough but nothing a little stropping won't polish out.

Oh, it's not that bad...but it is not that good either.
