    Hope you feel better quickly.

    AOS Lemon Shaving Cream
    AOS Silvertip Badger
Wostenholm & Sons IXL Frameback/Merkur HD for touch up
    Givenchy Dahlia Noir L'eau

Morning of anachronisms. MP3 of 1935 recording of Mozart's Le Nozze Di Figaro played over the laptop; fresh ground black coffee; straight razor shave; Kim Stanley Robinson's '2312' on the Kindle over breakfast.

Honey of a shave! I took my blades to a Crox pasted strop a week ago and the Wosty is intimidatingly sharp. Two day's growth gone in 2 full passes. A minor touch up on the weird growth pattern beneath the ear and jawline that I just can't seem to get with the straight. The results are amazingly smooth. The cream offers an extra cushion and the sample of Givenchy rounded it all off very nicely.

Thanks for the great posts, and enjoy the rest of Saturday.

Pre: Shower and wash face with hot waterthen applied 50/50 Glycerine and Grapeseed oil
    brush: Semogue 830
    soap: Razorock Mentolypto
    Razor: Engelswerk 6/8
    Post: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    After: Pinaud Lime Sec

A simple one pass shave so tomorrow my shave doesn't take too long (I start work). I had worked at home on a book about agriculture in Puerto Rico (designing) since morning, been sitting at the computer all day so this was a break at about 7:00 pm to begin my next round of work. Mentolypto is very cooling, makes great lather. Have a nice week!

Late post, due to feeling sore. The past three days I have been hitting the tread mill. I have gained all the weight back that I lost over a year ago. I am trying to get back to ~200 pounds. I guess I have to get used to the fact that I am older now and the weight does not come off easy nor stay off easy. I am just a sucker for Ben and Jerry's ice cream, cake, and other sugary delights. The Hart razor is nice, though I am still adjusting to the heft of the razor. I have been stuck on Castle Forbes lately. I am really found of this stuff. The latherability is superb.
