Razor: Birko's Best 13/16 (Solingen) in Steampunk scales

I just restored, re-scaled and honed this razor.
It was finished on the Naniwa 12k SS followed by 6 laps on the Chrome Ox balsa strop.
The Shave was amazing.
I was so impressed with the first pass, I went straight to an ATG pass for an awesome 2 pass BBS.
Have a great week gentlemen and thanks for the great posts and pics.

Elaborate hot water prep
Joseph Rodgers hollow ground razor - La Toja sc - Barbershop badger brush - cold water splash - Floid mentolado vigoroso as
A truly excellent start to this week! The Rodgers keeps amazing me. I shaved without music, so that I could hear the sound of the blade.
The Floid didn't sting, which in my books means a perfect shave. Duty guard smooth in two and ready for the week to come. Thanks for the great pics and stories folks! They lighten up my day, everyday. Have a good one!

Razor – Muhle R-89 w/ UFO Godzilla handle in red/bronze
Brush – Semouge boar
Soap – Valobra
AST – OSMA ALUM
EDt – Vierges et Toreros
A fast touch up shave is all that is required today. I like the weight and balance of the UFO handle and the knurling and workmanship is superb. Have a nice day!.

No shave this morning. Yesterday's "obscenely smooth" results are still intact. I'd only be taking off skin. Scrolling through these beautiful SOTD posts this morning makes me wish otherwise. Great pics, all. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
