Hot shower prep
Razor: Unknown
Soap: Nanny’s Silly Soap
Mug: Staffordshire
Brush: Col Conk Badger
Splash: Vintage Mennen Skin Bracer
Rain Forecast and hoped for<18ºC. The Shave? Smooth with an unknown and really modified razor. I still have not conquered the “Thilly Thoap” though. I added some VdH and got a good shave!
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

The razor appears to have been made or modified by someone familiar with good metal work. The scales are aluminum and three pinned. The shank of the razor was hand ground to fit them; which leads me to believe that the scales were a purchased item and the blade was fitted at a later date. The blade was etched and worn to a point of illegibility and it is hard!
I’ve not seen any scales of that type anywhere till this showed up on the ‘bay. Any ideas???

Sometimes the shave is about the journey, not the destination. From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place
