It's been mentioned that it takes about 3 months to break in and at my current usage means that it will take me a year before that happens. Hardly any of the hairs have yet to split on mine.

I like it - it's a good brush, hardly any shedding and good back bone and reasonable flow.

Not too scratchy, but it's not badger.

Good ergonomics with the handle and solidly made. Does need a decently tall brush stand.

Thanks for that, this means mine will be getting a couple of test lathers in between usage to help speed up the process.
