Brush and espresso tamper: Rod Neep Pensoftheforest/Richard aka Geezer, in Desert Ironwood
Razor: Mappin and weebs Shilling razor in UkRobs custom scales
Soap: Nannys Eucalyptus
AS: Mennen Skin Bracer
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean indeed
I'm so happy to have this brush and tamper, it's been a transatlantic shaving pal project, Richard aka Geezer from the US bought the wood and turned an excellent tamper base in stainless steel (I had a really good tamper, but this one's better, which is strange, but true) and Rod Neep in England turned the handle for the tamper and made me a brush from the same piece, the brush was a bonus, but it turned out extremely well and it's the first brush to reach the same level of goodness as my Polo 8 and Chubby 3 in two band. Cheers guys!!
... and of course an espresso shot packed with my new tamper:

Razor | Bengall Wedge | Soap | Madame Scodioli Step Right Up | After Shave | Madame Scodioli Step Right Up
...a bedroom shaving stand shave, precluded by a mowing of lawns, an ironing of shirts, a polishing of cufflinks, a sitting in the sun (sans shirt regardless of the mid-winternisty of the season) a playing of music (The Brian Jonestown Massacre; Tepid Peppermint Wonderland Disk 1), a reading of an article (entitled 'The Emotional Dog and Its Rational Tail: a Social Intuitionist Approach to Moral Judgement'), a drinking of Shiraz...
The Bengall wedge, after 40 laps on the Shapton 16k, was nice. Called upon to assist was the Madame Scodioli 'Step Right Up' soap and after shave.
The sun cast a dappled light on the scene, the lack of artificial light complicated and enhanced the affair...
Aaron, my older son, came 'round later and started cooking for Aimee's birthday; they are both 22, in love, and soon to be married...
