Experimentation Day today as i used an Tang-Less French Razor from the 1860s and an old French Razor from the 1870s, both are some kind of special and i still have to learn, especially the Tang-Less Razor is nearly 7/8 and aboz 2 1/2 oz heavy so its a bit tricky to handle.

    Prep: Hot Shower
Soap: Monsavon Bol a Raser Shaving Soap
    Brush: Vulfix 404 Grosvenor Mixed
Strop: no strop, Razors out from the Box
Razors: Hamon a Paris 6/8" 1/4 Hollow, Tinaud 13/16"+ aka. the Tang-Less Reaper
After Shave: Proraso Dopobarba AS (old recipe)

A totally awesome shave. The touched-up W&B combined with the tunes of Billy Holiday made for a mesmerising shave. CBS in two, with no irritation.

Worked a treat yesterday! Cloudy day, not too warm, not too hot. I also wear it in cooler weather but it'll get put to one side in the heat that we are expecting in the week ahead!! Woo-hoo!!!

Well, I've been using a DE Feather for the past couple of weeks. But today i had the extra time needed to enjoy a slower yet more civilized shave with a straight.
So i picked the largest beast i own and it turned out not only BBS, but I felt very relaxed and in a pleasant mood by shaves end.
